CounterAttack road checks are on during the holiday season to help keep impaired drivers off our roads.
The B.C. government, police and ICBC have launched a month-long CounterAttack campaign to encourage drivers to plan ahead for a safe ride home during the holidays and take a turn as the designated driver to help friends and family get home safely. Impaired driving remains one of the top three contributing factors for fatal car crashes in B.C. Police will be out in full force during December looking for impaired drivers at CounterAttack roadchecks across the province.
We want everyone to enjoy a safe holiday season with family and friends. If your activities involve alcohol, make a plan before you head out.
