Cobra Electric Regional Services Ltd.

Cobra Electric (South Coast) Ltd. now known as Cobra Electric Regional Services Ltd. is a full-service electrical contracting company, that provides electrical maintenance services for the East and West Lower Mainland Service Areas of British Columbia on behalf of the B.C. Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure.

Cobra Electric joined the Mainroad Group December, 2020 complementing synergies with Mainroad’s other electrical businesses, Raylec Power, Raylec Power Alberta, and Mainroad Transtronic Services as well as their contract partnerships with the Province.

The company maintains a wide variety of electrical and electronic equipment including:

Street Lighting
Traffic Signals
Vehicle detectors and classifiers

Electronic message signs
Lions Gate Bridge
Cassiar Tunnel infrastructure

Cobra Electric has successfully delivered these services to the Province since 2005 when the Ministry privatized the maintenance of electrical infrastructure. Head office is located in Surrey, B.C.
