Cobra Electric Interior Services LP

Cobra Electric Interior Services LP is the new provider of full-service electrical contracting to the Southern Interior Service Area of British Columbia on behalf of the B.C. Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure.

Cobra Electric joined the Mainroad Group December, 2020 complementing synergies with Mainroad’s other electrical businesses, Raylec Power, Raylec Power Alberta, and Mainroad Transtronic Services as well as their business partnerships.

The company maintains a wide variety of electrical and electronic equipment including:

• Street Lighting
• Traffic Signals
• Vehicle detectors and classifiers
• Electronic message signs

Cobra Electric successfully holds the electrical maintenance contract for the Lower Mainland East and West Service Areas with the Ministry since 2005 when the Ministry privatized the maintenance of electrical infrastructure.

All Cobra Electric operations follow rigorous quality management processes to ensure quality results that meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 compliant Quality Management System (QMS). Cobra Electric is an active industry member of the Electrical Contractors Association of BC and is COR certified by the BC Construction Safety Alliance.
