Community Outreach
Our operations within the transportation industry has lead us down many roads in British Columbia and Alberta. It gives us the opportunity to interact with many stakeholders ranging from governments to community leaders, associations, businesses, groups, and the public. We recognize that local engagement and involvement are fundamental principles to the process of delivering excellent maintenance, products and construction services for civil infrastructure to all stakeholders. We make a conscious effort to hire local suppliers and students for summer project work and utilize local resources as well.
Community Support and Sponsorship
Being community minded is very much a part of Mainroad Group’s culture. We proudly support various charitable organizations through our association with BC Road Builders and Heavy Construction Association as well as various stakeholder and customer events in the communities we work and serve including:

Selected sponsorships and corporate donations, public service advertising, and use of local suppliers are all ways in which Mainroad gives back to the community.
Since 2011, Mainroad has partnered with the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure to start an annual community support initiative, The Community Partnership Program. Together, resources and funds are pooled to support a community project in each of our service areas.
