New maintenance contracts have been awarded to ensure better highway conditions for Lower Mainland and Sunshine Coast travellers.
For the Lower Mainland, current contractor Mainroad Lower Mainland Contracting LP won the contract for Service Area 06 and incumbent Capilano Highway Services Company has been named as the successful contractor for Service Area 05 on the Sunshine Coast.
Both have a 10-year contract with an optional five-year extension. The contracts came into effect in April 2019.
