Go Kart Experience returns to the Cloverdale Rodeo!

The May long weekend marks the return of the Go Kart Experience event at the Cloverdale Rodeo.

Join us for a super fun roadside safety activity for the whole family May 17th through the 20th.

The Go Kart Experience is the brainchild of Bob Nielsen, Mainroad Group’s Director of Corporate Compliance. This annual event targets future drivers as well as their parents and care givers.  “Safety awareness is exciting – the Go Kart Experience event is an environment for young people that is interesting and engaging.  The reason for the focus on children is that they are the next generation to be driving.  At the same time, we know that parents want to do the right thing.  If their children are mentioning some of our key messages; Cone Zone or Slow Down, good driving habits will be formed and parents may become more conscious of their own driving.”

“We want to drive home the message that people need to slow down when approaching a cone zone, pay attention, and be respectful to traffic control personnel managing the work zone and all roadside workers,” says Bob Nielsen.

In addition to the Go Kart circuit for children aged 10 to 16, there are electric 3 wheel Segway or scooters for participants 8 years of age and up to 70 years, and even tricycles for kids 5 to 8.
