Calvin Chan is a licensed Professional Engineer in BC, holding Bachelors of Applied Science (Civil Engineering) and Masters of Business Administration Degrees from the University of British Columbia. Mr. Chan brings over 16 years of experience in the heavy civil and highway maintenance industry. Prior to joining Mainroad Group, Mr. Chan was part of technical teams constructing complex projects such as large hydro power dam expansions and the Canada Line rapid transit tunnel and stations. Since joining the Mainroad Group in 2009, Mr. Chan progressed through several operational management positions gaining valuable experience in BC’s Provincial Highway Maintenance and Public Private Partnership contracts. To recognize and support Mainroad’s growth within the highway electrical environment, Mr. Chan oversees all electrical businesses. These companies include Cobra Electric Interior Services LP, Cobra Electric Regional Services LP, Cobra Electric Services LP, Mainroad Transtronic Services LP, Raylec Power LP, and Raylec Power Alberta LP.
