Across Canada, April 28 has been designated as a Day of Mourning, a time when workers, families, employers, and others come together to remember those who have lost their lives to work related incidents or occupational diseases.
On this day, we should not only remember those workers who have been injured or killed on the job, but also honour their memory by renewing our own commitment to work together to prevent injuries and fatalities in the workplace and live up to our core value of “working safely,”
