Mainroad Fraser Maintenance LP
Mainroad Fraser Maintenance provides operations, maintenance, and rehabilitation services for the South Fraser Perimeter Road. Mainroad is contracted to the Concessionaire, Fraser Transportation Group Partnership led by ACS Infrastructure Canada Inc. This role, in addition to providing traditional operations and maintenance services, includes pavement marking and both traditional and enhanced electrical services.
The South Fraser Perimeter Road (SFPR) is a 40km, four-lane highway with a speed limit of 80km/hr, running along the south side of the Fraser River from Deltaport Way in southwest Delta to 176th Street (Highway 15) in Surrey. This highway is crucial for enhancing transportation between the ferry terminals in Tsawwassen and British Columbia’s interior, connecting with Highways 1, 15, 17, 91, 99, and TransLink’s Golden Ears Bridge. It has also significantly improved the commercial transportation of goods to and from Delta and Surrey Ports. The entire highway was opened on December 21, 2013.
Mainroad’s Highway Asset Management portfolio includes the South East Stoney Trail, and the South Fraser Perimeter Road. The company is well-versed in the operations, maintenance, and rehabilitation requirements, as well as the obligations, risks, and penalties typically associated with these Public-Private Partnership (P3) projects.
Mainroad Fraser Maintenance LP is COR certified by the BC Construction Safety Alliance.
