Cone Zone Ride at the Cloverdale Rodeo | Call for Volunteers, Donations and Equipment

We can’t do it without you!  Please help us make the 2016 Cone Zone Ride at the Cloverdale Rodeo a success. We are looking for volunteers, sponsors and equipment.  Whether you only have a few hours, or a few days every contribution is important and welcome.  Learn more ~ Full Event Details and contact information.

Volunteers

Set up and Take Down Crew: We need a team of six laborers each day to help with set up and take down and moving supplies and equipment (three days prior to event and two days after event ends).

Other positions we require: Mechanics, Go Kart people loading, helping with helmets and fitting, training, registration, photo stations, video camera, social media, photo documentation of event, survey people, course workers, flaggers.

Shifts: We are looking for volunteers (29 volunteers per shift) to put in 4 hour shifts, as follows:

FRIDAY

5:00 pm – 8:30 pm

SATURDAY

9:30 am – 1:30 pm

1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

4:30 pm – 8:30 pm

SUNDAY

9:30 am – 1:30 pm

1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

4:30 pm – 8:30 pm

MONDAY

9:30 am – 1:30 pm

1:00 pm – 5:00 pm


Supplies

We need the following supplies (some supplies may be donated or lent for the duration of the event):

  • 1 – 40”-60” TV
  • Enclosed trailer for storage and moving of equipment
  • 1 sound box –speaker system
  • 3 go pro cameras
  • 4 tablets to use for surveys and social media
  • 6 tents
  • 1 video camera and tripod
  • 8 electric ride cars for small children
  • 5 electric scooters
  • Spray paint for competition
  • Give aways

 

Sponsorship

Aside from the in-kind sponsorship items and volunteer hours, we are seeking monetary donations to assist with expenses related to the event. Sponsors will be recognized through media releases, social media, and visible on site recognition.
